At our future location, we plan to offer a number of services to hurting teens. Our rules are simple. The doors are open 24/7 to any adolescent in crisis. To each teen we offer:
*Crisis counseling
*Prayer
*Resources
*Connections
Crisis counselors are prepared to deal with issues of abuse, rape, eating disorders, self-injury, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, depression, mental illness, and other sources of emotional pain. We can assist teens in reporting abusers, communicating with social workers, involving the law, in addition to researching, recommending and applying to long-term specialized programs appropriate for the circumstances. Each teen will be prayed for and counseled from a Biblical perspective.
Our crisis center features a lounge, library, media library, availability to hotlines, and supervised internet use. Our goal is to provide a safe haven for teens who have no other place to turn in their time of need.
Whenever a teen comes to us, we will attempt to understand the circumstances of their need and respond appropriately. We strive to be the resting place for teens before they move on in their journey to healing.
We partner with specialized ministries, and often recommend them as the next step to teens.
